In a rare and admirable move, actor-politician Pawan Kalyan has voluntarily waived his remuneration for the much-delayed film Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM).

As production continues to face setbacks due to scheduling issues and political commitments, the Power Star has decided to return approximately ₹11 crore to the producers — an action that’s being hailed as a gesture of integrity and respect for cinema.
Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, HHVM is a high-budget historical action drama that has seen multiple delays since it was first announced. With Pawan Kalyan now deeply involved in his political journey, the film’s production was temporarily put on hold, causing mounting pressure on the production house.
Instead of adding to the strain, Pawan Kalyan stepped forward with a selfless offer: to forgo his hefty remuneration to help stabilize the budget and support the team that has worked tirelessly behind the scenes.
Fans and industry peers alike have applauded the move, calling it a rare instance of accountability and passion in the film world.
Featuring Nidhhi Agerwal and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles and music by MM Keeravani, HHVM is expected to resume post-production soon, with a tentative release eyeing mid-2025.
As anticipation builds, this gesture by Pawan Kalyan not only strengthens his reputation as a committed artist but also brings renewed hope to fans waiting to see him in action on the big screen again.
